About the Role
As an OSHC Educator, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-aged children before and after school, and during vacation care. You’ll build meaningful connections with children and families, support their individual needs, and contribute to a fun, nurturing space that encourages wellbeing, independence, and development.

OSHC Educator
To be successful for this role, you must possess the following:

Genuine interest in working with children, with a developing understanding of early childhood and school-aged children’s development

Demonstrates a willingness to learn and engage with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place (MTOP)

Committed to contributing to a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF)

Reliable, punctual, and displays a mature, responsible attitude to work

Available to work from 2:45pm for at least two to three days per week

Strong oral, reading, and written English skills

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach

Willingness to engage in ongoing learning through further study and professional development

Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality
OSHC Qualified Educator
To be successful for this role, you must possess the following:

Completed qualification in one of the following: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA

Ability to actively contribute to the review and development of Children’s Services policies and procedures

Extensive experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), with strong working knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and The My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills

Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written

Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment

Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic

Sound understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality

Holds a current First Aid Certificate applicable to an education and care setting, including asthma and anaphylaxis management
