We are seeking for an accomplished Team Leader Quality and Risk who will be responsible for coordinating WCS’s compliance and accreditation requirements. The role is also responsible for the operational oversight of WCS’s policy and risk functions.

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the performance and output of the Quality and Risk team, including any students and/or volunteers.
- Coordinate, supervise and/or undertake quality/compliance audits and assessments.
- Assist with the identification, development and monitoring of compliance corrective actions.
- Monitor, advise and coordinate WCS’s response to changes in legislation, regulations and standards.
- Provide advice on policy issues, including supporting staff to develop service area policies.
- Develop, draft and promote policies, as required.
- Coordinate risk management activities, including the monitoring of the organisation’s risk framework.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline(s) and/or substantial knowledge of, and experience in, compliance, policy development and risk management.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver innovative and timely solutions.
- Influential written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and foster productive working relationships.
- High-level skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Word and Excel.
